For 2011 designers have revived this fashion trend and flaunted its magic on Spring 2011 runways of New York, Paris, Milan and London. Fringes were seen on dresses, accessories, and jewelry; they were key techniques in the collections giving it a 1970's edge. Fringe has seemed to have made a comeback on the runway in a big way. Versace Spring 2011 Collection presented gowns adorned with silk fringes, fringe decorated cocktail and evening dresses. Footwear, handbags and jewelry were also adorned with fringes.
